Ding! Ding! Ding! The fire bell is ringing! We had a very exciting week learning about fire safety. We also really enjoyed spending time with our Grandparents. Thank you to all of the special families that came to our classroom on Thursday. We were so excited to meet you! This week we learned the difference between “hot” items and things that are not hot. We learned to dial 9-1-1 on the telephone if there is an emergency. We learned we should “get out and stay out!” if there is a fire. As your child to show you how to “stop”, “drop”, and “roll”. We learned about the letter “L” and created a “L” craft using shapes and a ladder. Did you know that when you mix the colors red and yellow, orange appears? Learning about leaves helped us wrap up the first quarter of the school year! We reviewed all of the curriculum we have learned thus far and completed assessments. We hope you enjoy fall break and we are excited to see you on October 24th!
