This week we learned about friends and our school.
We learned about the letter "S" and practiced tracing circles. We also introduced new fine motor learning centers to the class. Each day, as the kids arrive to our class, they will find their name tag on a new learning center.
These learning centers consist of 15 different fine motor activities. For the next 15 school days, the kids will rotate (one per day) until they have visited each learning center. After they have visited all centers,
15 new learning centers will be introduced.
We are having so much fun at school! Here are bunches and bunches of pictures to show you how much we are learning!
I just love this photo. Hunter is so happy at school!
What a smile. :)
Look at how well our friends are learning together!
This is awesome!
Happy Birthday to Elsie!
I was delighted to share a birthday with you! Hooray!
We love our friends!
Group hug!!!
Wow, look at the busy helpers cleaning up our classroom! We are practicing how to clean up our room when it is time to gather as a group. As you can see, the kids were quickly picking up for the next activity. I was so proud of them!
I must explain this photo. As I was reading the story, David Goes to School to the class, they were glued. I giggled when I saw this photo because in the story, David gets in trouble. As you can see by my facial expression, someone in the book wasn't very happy with David. The kids couldn't take their eyes off of the pictures.
Out on the playground, we had some fun with the word "friends". Here are some friends enjoying their time together.
As a group activity, we practiced tracing the letters in our names and practiced cutting with scissors. Cutting with scissors is hard to do!
We are so proud of you!
We can't wait to see you next week
when we learn about Pets!
Love,
Mrs. Kelly & Mrs. Crystal
