Welcome to the first day of school!
We had so much fun getting to know one another.
We also spent some time this week exploring our classroom. We learned about all of our different learning centers and practiced putting toys away in the correct places during clean-up time. Look at the fun photos of our friends playing together while they explore our fun classroom!
Here is Rayna in her favorite dress-up outfit.
Elsie was very handy working with the tool bench.
I hear a firetruck! Is that Hunter, the fireman?
Sarah loves writing on the chalkboard.
Anna is preparing tea for her visit with friends.
Hunter discovered the pirate ship, while Charlotte found some really neat blocks!
Ben enjoyed the play dough table and even brought a bulldozer over to push the dough.
Mason joined in the fun and showed us how to
flatten the dough with a rolling pin.
Look at the giant tower Elsie and Charlotte built!
Trey and Nate spent some time talking about the really cool airplane they found in our classroom. It immediately became a favorite classroom item.
Gracie showed her friends how to play with cookie
cutters at the play dough table.
Dane found that when you flip this item
upside down, it makes noises!
Jayda pretended her cheerios were
tiny glasses during snack.
Dane dug deep to find letters to spell his name at
the sensory table.
Tea time!
Campbell and Trey discovered the train table right away.
While singing our favorite "Welcome to School Today" song, we whispered some of the lyrics.
Then we shook our sillies out and danced.
It's time to go outside! Let's make a line and hold onto the shape rope so that we are very safe in the parking lot.
The playground was full of exciting activities!
Look at all of the fun we had outside!
Mrs. Crystal and I were tickled by the answers we received when asking the kids what they wanted to be when growing up. We hope they will look back on these photos one day when they are older.
Every day Mrs. Crystal and I spend one-on-one
time with each child.
I was so proud of our class during circle time.
They were very good listeners.
Here we are learning about sorting toys.
At Mrs. Kelly's table, we worked on our self-portraits.
We pray every day before snack.
Campbell volunteered to say our prayer today.
Thank you Campbell!
We learned about the letter M, for "me"! Each person in our class is different and special. Here we are showing off our beautiful self portraits!
We loved looking at all of the pictures and talking about all of the fun activities the kids are doing in school! This blog is wonderful - love, love, love it!!!!
