Brush, brush, brush your teeth! Brush the germs away! Happy, healthy teeth you’ll have by brushing every day! Dental health is one of my favorite themes! We had so much fun learning about keeping our mouths and teeth clean and healthy. We practiced cutting by making a toothbrush with puffy paint paste, practiced writing/tracing our name, brushed the baby dolls’ teeth in the sensory bin using real toothpaste, water and toothbrushes, brushed “sugar bugs” off of teeth with toothbrushes in the art center, learned about the letter “x” while discussing x-rays, sorted different foods that make our teeth happy vs. sad, and painted yellow, yucky teeth white! We also practiced exercising our fine motor skills by manipulating play-doh to create little teeth on the new play-doh mats we have. We have been very busy little dentists!
Great job brushing!
Oh, this poor sweet baby. Ha!
Great hand-eye coordination! Using the dotter to make letters isn't always easy.
We used scissors to cut and create our personalized toothbrushes. We even wrote our names on them!
Thank you Amelia for being such a fabulous "Student of the Day"!
Which foods make our teeth happy and healthy?
Which foods make our teeth sad and unhealthy?
Our class did a great job making this fun chart!
Can you make teeth out of playdoh for our fun playdoh mats?
Maddie is placing yucky sugar bugs on these teeth so we can practice brushing them clean.
Mrs. Karen caught this sweet group of friends having a "picnic" together.
We love it when we see their imaginations grow.
Wow! Check out all of these dentists!
We had fun making pretend mouths. We used marshmallows as teeth!
Yuck! These teeth are yellow!
Can you paint this giant tooth white with a toothbrush so it looks healthy again?
We are so creative with blocks and train tracks! Building is so much fun.
This is one of my favorite photos of the year. Look at how precious this is!!! This group of friends had an imaginary picnic together, but they decided to pray before they started to eat. Wow! I am so proud of them! So sweet.....
Thank you Cooper for being such a "SUPER" Student of the Day!
