This week we learned about our families. The class really enjoyed naming each of their family members. Some of them even told me about their pets! We counted the number of people in our families, traced numbers, learned about the letter "F", shared pictures of our families with one another, painted family trees, made a special little gift for our Grandparents and celebrated Grandparents Day! Oh, how we enjoyed showing off our classroom to our Grandparents! We have had a busy week!
Nate did a great job tracing the number "4".
Nate has four family members,

It's Grandparent's Day!
It's time to make the icing for our cookies different colors! Did you know that when you mix blue and red,
it makes the color purple?
Look at all of the special helpers who assisted
in making colorful icing.
During circle time today, we showed our friends photos of our families. Some families even had pictures with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck! Those were a hit!
Mrs. Crystal shared some special time with the class and they danced to some of our favorite songs.
Mrs. Crystal even read a special story!
Happy Grandparent's Day!
