Welcome to Mrs. Kelly's Three Year Old Class!

Welcome to school!  We’ve had such an amazing first two days of school this week and have really enjoyed getting to know one another.  From circle time, to learning centers, to dramatic play, we mainly focused on becoming familiar with one another, the teachers and our classroom.  We won’t have very many artwork or craft pieces in your child’s bag this week, as we have been saving our “first week of school” projects for your child’s portfolio.  I know we are going to have such a fun and exciting year!

Take a look at all of the fun learning activities we did this week!

Mrs. Karen is ready for the first day of school!

We enjoyed meeting new friends and had so much fun while we discovered our learning centers.

Eden found a finger puppet that looked just like her while wearing this beautiful princess dress from the dramatic play center.

Mrs. Karen measured and weighed each friend in our class for a fun portfolio piece.

At circle time, we read "The Kissing Hand",
a story about a little raccoon and his first day of school.

We pray every day before we eat snack.

Wow!  Look at the way our friends lined up to go outside!  They did a great job.

Recess is one of our favorite parts of the day.

I was so surprised when Cooper brought me this delightful flower.   Thank you, friend.

Happy Birthday Makiah!

In the dough center, we used our fingers to make eyes and smiles
for these people dough mats.

The sensory table is always fun.  Each week, we will make a new sensory table that corresponds with the theme of the week.  This week, we dug through rice to find letters.  Some of us found the letter that our name starts with!

At circle time, we each had our own mirrors to look at ourselves.  We were able to see God's work in our little happy faces.  We are so special!

During journal time, we worked hard on tracing the letter "M" for ME!

Happy 1st week of school, friends.  I love you!
