This week we learned about our families. The kids enjoyed telling us about their families and we even learned about some of your pets! We counted the number of people in our families, learned about the letter "F", shared pictures of our families with one another, painted feet, made a special little gift for our Grandparents and created a fun weekly letter craft using feathers. We even searched the room to find little "F" letters that were hidden around the room. We practiced our cutting skills in the sensory table this week while cutting straws with scissors.
Here are a few stories we read this week.
Look! Floyd is eating a fish for snack! "Floyd" and "fish" begin with the letter "F"!
Everyday before snack, we say a prayer....
Thank you for the world so sweet.
Thank you for the food we eat.
Thank you for the birds that sing.
Thank you, God for everything!
Amen.
The letter "F" was hidden around the room on Friday.
These friends did a fantastic job finding all of the hiding spots!
Learning how to walk down the hallway in a straight line can be a little tricky at first. Mrs. Kelly placed numbered apples and oranges on the floor to help us find a spot in line. When we stand in a straight line, we look just like a choo-choo train!
Mrs Kelly. Love reading the blog each week to see what my little man has been doing. Thank you.
